General requirements for employment with Prime Property Inspectors – The Building Inspector of America:

• Minimum of 40 hours formal classroom training in home inspection
• Five years of experience working in construction, engineering or architecture
• Satisfactorily complete The Building Inspector of America’s on-site company training
• Pass the National Home Inspectors Exam
• Become certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)
• Obtain state license as a home inspector
• Receive all necessary certifications to perform environmental testing for Radon, Mold, Water, Septic, etc.
• Maintain a commitment to continuing education
• Have serious motivation and commitment to being a full-time professional home inspector.
