Meet Our Inspectors
Vimal Kapoor is president and principal inspector of Prime Property Inspectors. He is a Certified Indoor Environmentalist with over 30 years of engineering, architecture and environmental experience. He has performed over 5,000 home/building inspections and has conducted numerous Indoor Air Quality evaluations. He has been featured in The Washington Post and other publications, and has appeared on radio and TV talk shows such as WDCA's "Making A Difference." Mr. Kapoor is a frequent speaker on construction and environmental issues at various consumer and real estate seminars, and serves as an education instructor approved by the Maryland Real Estate Commission for Continuing Education Credits. He has testified as an expert witness on residential construction before the American Arbitration Association, the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, and at the Fairfax County Circuit Court. He is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technicians (AARST), the American Indoor Air Quality (AmIAQ) Council, the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), and an Officer of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of ASHI.

Ron Meely is a senior inspector with over 25 years of diverse experience in the construction industry. As a former licensed builder/general contractor, Mr. Meely supervised the construction of hundreds of new residential and commercial buildings throughout Maryland and Virginia. As a licensed home improvement specialist, he has had extensive experience with all types of remodeling and additions, from design to completion. His services are frequently requested as a professional building consultant, and he has performed a variety of services relating to site/land development and stormwater management. He has advised clients on structural, mechanical and electrical deficiencies found during major renovation and construction projects. He has also acted as professional arbitrator on client and contractor/builder disputes. He is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technicians (AARST).

Brian Kelley is no stranger to the construction industry. He comes to Prime Property Inspectors from a family background in concrete, heavy equipment and asphalt maintenance, supervising crews in and around the Washington, D.C. metro area. Mr. Kelley studied Industrial Technology and Communications at East Carolina University, and completed a home inspection course with Building Specs Incorporated. He is also a certified Radon Measurement Specialist with the National Radon Safety Board. Mr. Kelley is an inspector who has already received many recommendations from satisfied clients for his attention to detail and thorough professionalism.

Darron Hogue has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of the District of Columbia. He holds a Maryland general contractor's license and has completed a home inspection course with Inspection Training Associates. He is also a certified Radon Measurement Specialist with the National Radon Safety Board. Prior to his employment with Prime Property Inspectors, Mr. Hogue spent nine years as an electrical engineer for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
